Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a United Kingdom Visa

Visa application documents include:

– Passport valid for 6 months and old passport (if any)
– Two 4.5 x 4.5 photos with white background, clearly capture the face and ear
Identity card (ID card)
– Family registration book
– Marriage or divorce certificate or single confirmation
– Birth certificate
– Travel insurance
– Confirmation of round-trip air ticket
– Confirmed hotel reservation

Visa processing time:

UK visa applications are processed within 3-4 working weeks

Note:

– UK visa is valid for 6 months, multiple entries, maximum stay of 180 days
– Apply for UK visa at least 4 weeks before the expected date of departure. Be sure to fill out the form completely and provide all the required documents.
Each applicant including children will be required to submit a separate UK visa application form and application fee.
– All documents submitted in the application must be accompanied by an English translation except for some papers accepted in Vietnamese according to the list of documents to be submitted.
– The notarized copies must be certified by the State Notary Office or the local People’s Committee and affixed with a stamp for true copy
– Bring your original passport when submitting your application
