Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Netherlands Visa

Visa application documents include:

– Visa declaration.
– Passport and passport copy.
– 2 photos size 2.5 × 4.5cm, just taken no more than 6 months, not to cover the bangs, not to be blurred.
Documents proving financial:
+ If you are a normal employee, you need to prepare original bank statements, payroll for the last 3 months, labor contract.
+ If you are a business owner, you must submit a business registration license and report on tax payment.
For retired people, need to provide a retirement book.
– Hotel booking confirmation
– Confirmation of round trip flight booking
– Confirmation of round trip flight booking
– Travel insurance contract

Visa processing time:

The average time to issue and process a Schengen visa is 15 days. You should apply for a visa at VFS at least 3 to 4 weeks but no more than 6 months before your intended date of departure to the Netherlands.

Note :

– All official documents need to be authenticated by the competent authority within at least 3 months and fully translated into English.
– You need to apply for a visa at least 15 days before the expected date because visa processing time usually lasts about 2 weeks.
– For the first time applying for a visa, when going, absolutely should not stay more than the allowed number of days because it will make it difficult for the next visa application.
– Absolutely not forge all kinds of papers proving financial capacity.
– Must be able to verify clearly the departure and return schedule through return flight tickets and stable job in Vietnam.
