Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Macau Visa
Visa application documents include:
– Application for tourist / business / visiting relatives in Macau according to the regulations of the Embassies and Consulates
– 2 photos size 4×6 cm with white background, taken no more than 3 months, require clear face
– Passport valid for at least 6 months and must have a blank page for visa affixing (original and copy)
– 1 copy of the household registration book certified by the People’s Committee of the place of residence
– Confirmation of marital status by local authority
– 2 copies of ID card / ID card (notarized)
– Savings books have a minimum balance of 1,500 USD
– Bank statement for the most recent 3 months before applying for a visa
– Other proof of assets: real estate, vehicles, and other valuables
– Present round-trip flight tickets to and from Macau (with specific departure and return times)
– Present hotel booking information to stay in Macau
– Detailed itinerary if you are traveling or visiting Macau destinations (if applicable) or specific work and study schedule
Visa processing time:
The Macau visa processing time limit is 4 working days in the case of the review by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General. For applications for Macau visa in the case of the Immigration Department of the Police Department of the Central Government of Macau, the earliest time is 1 month or more than 1 month.
Note :
– You should apply for a visa to Macau at least 2 months before departure to ensure late processing or need to add additional documents, missing documents.
– Visa fees to Macau may change from time to time, so you need to be constantly updated at the official website
– You should be aware of all the necessary documents when applying for a visa to Macau for a higher visa rate
– Working hours of the Embassy and Consulate General: From 8:30 am – 11am and from 13:00 to 16:00
