Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Korea Visa

Visa application documents include:

– 01 Visa application, with 01 3.5 x 4.5cm photo, taken within 3 months of the visa application date (Must be submitted in Korean or English)
– Original passport (valid for over 6 months for visas going under 90 days and still valid for over 1 year for visas going over 1 year from the date of issuance)

Visa processing time:

Currently, due to the large number of people coming to apply for a visa, from June 20, 2011, the visa processing time will be 8 working days (instead of 5 working days as before) if the application has no problem ( Applicable to all types of Visa except Marriage, Study and Labor)

Note :

– Additional copies of ID are required for all types of Visa
– In case the Commercial Visa authorizes the employee of the same company to pay for it, it is necessary to bring the Employee Card (if any) or Labor Contract (original) and Original ID.
– English or Korean translations are required for all documents prepared by the Vietnamese side. In case it is a document issued by a Vietnamese state agency (business registration certificate, household registration book, red book, birth certificate, marriage registration certificate, savings book …) then State notarized English or Korean translation required.
