Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Kenya Visa

Visa application documents include:

There are two ways to apply for a Kenyan tourist visa, that is to apply for a visa at the border (visa on arrival) or to apply for a visa online (evisa).
1. Visa at border:
– When you arrive at the Kenyan border gate / airport, you will fill out the declaration form there and present your passport there to get a Kenyan visa.
– Children under 16 years old are free of charge at the border / airport.
2. Visa online (evisa):
Information to be completed includes:
– Passport number, date of issue of passport
– Address, phone number
– Air ticket
– Arrival date, date of departure from Kenya
– Your travel history
– Hotel name, email hotel
– Kenya travel schedule details (you can upload an attachment to the attachment, the schedule can be written in Vietnamese or English). All attachments must not exceed 1000Mb, otherwise it will be ejected by the system.

Visa processing time:

– Normally, if you fill in the information fully and properly, only about 2-3 working days will have the visa result.
– To get the results you have to log in to the website that you have filled in information on. You check the visa status by going to Immigration services / my application. If you are in Pending mode, you must continue waiting. If in the Issued state, then click View to get your Kenyan visa.

Note :

– The most important thing when applying for a visa is to fill out all information. If you miss a certain item, it will be considered as wasted your money.
– You should apply for a visa online to ensure that you have a visa before you fly, avoiding the Vietnam customs that does not see you having a visa that will keep you to check and verify, causing time wasting and affecting the trip.
