Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Italy Visa
Visa application documents include:
– Visa application form to Italy.
– 2 portrait photos size 4x6cm or 3.5×4.5cm, white background, taken no more than 6 months, with clear face, hair clawed to reveal ears, eyes looking straight, no glasses or hat.
Certified copy of notarized passport and original passport with at least 6 months of expiry date, issued for less than 10 years and with at least 2 blank pages left for visa labeling.
– Notarized copy of ID card, household registration book.
– Resume is stamped for certification by the local government.
– Papers determining marital status (marriage registration, single certificate, divorce decision).
– In addition, if you want to apply for a visa to Italy for business purposes, you need to add an invitation to work in your profile.
Visa processing time:
Normally, the time to apply for a short-term Italian visa (Schengen visa) will take about 15 working days. If applying for a long-term visa to Italy, the time will be longer, it may take about 3 weeks or more to process. But in some special cases, needing additional documents, completing documents, the waiting time for visa can be up to 30 days.
Note :
– If you want to apply for a Schengen visa to Italy, you must stay in Italy for the longest time. Or, in case the length of stay of each destination is equal, Italy should be the first place in your itinerary.
– The waiting time for visa approval to Italy is quite long. Therefore, to ensure that you do not affect your schedule, you should prepare your application and apply early, at least 2 months before the scheduled date of flight.
– The visa fee must be paid in cash in VND and calculated at the EURO / VND rate at the time of application. Whether you pass the visa or not, this amount will not be refunded.
