Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Ghana Visa

Visa application documents include:

– Passport valid for 6 months + Copy of relevant passport pages
– Proof of work:
+ If you are an employee:
. Labor contract (notarized copy)
. Payroll for the last 6 months of the year
. Application for vacation travel (With full seal and signature of the leader)
+ If you are a business owner:
. Business registration license / Investment license (Notarized copy).
. Tax receipt / State budget payment quarterly
+ For people under 18 years old: Birth certificate, Parental consent letter for travel + ID card of parents.
Documents proving financial:
+ Bank account statements for the last 3 months
+ Savings book / Bank account verification (Notarized copy – if any)
+ Vehicle registration certificate (Notarized copy – If any)
+ Real estate papers / house lease agreement / Mortgage statement (If any)
+ Shareholder certificate (Notarized copy – If any)
– Confirmation of round-trip flight booking / travel schedule
– Hotel booking confirmation, if you stay at a friend or relative’s house, an invitation letter is required.
Certificate of yellow fever vaccination
Travel insurance for the entire period of stay (Copy) with a minimum liability of 30,000 Euro.

Visa processing time:

Ghana visa application period is 8 days from the date the consulate receives the application (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).

Note :

– All proof of finance + proof of profession must be in English and notarized translation.
– The Embassy does not refund Visa fee when the customer is not approved for Visa
