Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Finland Visa
Visa application documents include:
– Passport: valid for at least 3 months and at least 2 empty pages together
– Copy of passport (sides with personal information and visa pages if applicable)
Online visa application form
– 2 passport photos size 3.5 x 4.5cm
– Photo notarized household registration, marriage registration (if married)
– If the applicant is under 18 years old or traveling with a biological parents, a birth certificate, letter of approval for the traveling child of both parents
– Letter from the court about the parent’s full custody of the children (if any)
– Flight and accommodation reservations on arrival in Finland
– Demonstrate financial:
+ Bank account statement (last 3 months)
+ Savings book with minimum amount of 5,000 USD (about 120 million VND)
+ Payroll or salary statement from the bank
+ Real estate, car registration documents (if any)
– Proof of work:
+ Labor contract / Appointment decision + leave application (for employee applicants);
+ Business license + tax report + bank account for the last 3 months (for applicants who are business owners)
+ Retirement book + Retirement decision + Retirement book (for retired applicants)
– Proof of trip:
+ Confirmed hotel + plane reservation
+ 30.000 EURO travel insurance policy
+ Schedule trip
Visa processing time:
Processing time is usually 3 to 4 weeks. On the date indicated on the appointment, you go to the Embassy to get the visa that has been stuck on your passport.
Note :
– Remember when you come to Finland, your stay is 90 days, you cannot stay more than 1 day. Best if traveling, stay in Finland for up to 1 month for a smooth future visa application. Overstaying will also affect your visa application route to other European countries, so keep an eye out for as much time as possible on your travel and exit schedules.
– If you want to enter Schengen on a Finnish visa, you need to enter the country first in the block and have the longest stay.
