Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Brazil Visa
Visa application documents include:
1. For tourist visa:
– Passport: Original, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry to Brazil, with at least 2 blank pages.
– Round-trip ticket information.
– Passport photo, straight view and with white background.
– Travel schedule.
– Hotel booking or accommodation during your stay in Brazil.
– Round trip ticket booking.
– Bank confirmation of account balance for the last 3 months.
– Application for leave, confirm salary for the last 3 months.
– Copy of identity card, household registration, marriage registration, of parents, spouse, children.
2. For a business visa: it is necessary to provide all documents such as a tourist visa and add:
– Invitation letter from the Brazilian partner.
– Decision sent to work.
– Copies: Business registration, labor contract, tax payment certificate, bank statement, transactions with partner in Brazil.
– Company account statement for the last 3 months.
Visa processing time:
About 10 to 15 business days.
Note :
– Visa processing time may be extended in case the Embassy needs to verify application information or the application is submitted during peak hours.
– Time to receive documents: From 9-12 am from Monday to Friday (except holidays, New Year).
– Visa application should be completed in Portuguese, Spanish, French or English.
– Each individual must complete 1 visa application, including children under 18 years old traveling with parents.
– Brazil visa application needs to be completed before trip departure.
