Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Hungary Visa

Visa application documents include:

– Original signed passport (valid for 6 months, with at least 2 consecutive blank pages)
– Old passport (if any)
– One 4 * 6 cm photo (white background, face straight)
– People ID
– Household
– Marriage Certificate (If married) or Divorce Decision (If divorced) or Single Confirmation (If single) or Death Certificate (If husband or wife dies)
– Hungarian visa application form
– Bank account statement at least the last 3 months
– Confirm credit card account balance
– Minimum savings book of 5,000 USD
– Payroll with translation or salary statement
– Real estate, real estate documents (if any)
– Hotel reservation confirmation
– Confirmed round-trip flight ticket booking
– Trip Insurance Policy
– Schedule trip to Hungary

Visa processing time:

Time to submit and wait for the application is about 15 – 20 days.

Note :

– When submitting the application, the visa applicant must come to do it himself.
– In some specific cases, the Consulate General or the Embassy may ask you to add other documents if needed.
– You should give truthful information and submit the correct documents. In case of forging information, it will be denied a permanent visa.
– Should apply for Schengen visa about 2 months earlier and at least 15 days before the intended date of departure.
