Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Germany Visa

Visa application documents include:

– German Schengen visa application form: fill in clearly, date and sign
– Two 4×6 photos with white background
– Passport valid for more than 6 months and at least 2 blank pages left to paste visa
– Family registration book
– Identity card
– Birth certificate
– Registration of marriage or divorce (if any)
– Travel insurance
– Confirmation of round-trip air ticket
– Confirmed hotel reservation

Visa processing time:

The minimum visa processing time is 15 working days (the Embassy / Consulate may ask for additional documents or information or you will be called for an interview so the processing time will be may be extended.)

Note :

– Visa validity can be from 1 to 3 months based on the quality of the application and the time shown in the visa application.
– Number of entries 1 or 2 times depending on the applicant’s request and by the jurisdiction of the German LSQ
– For documents other than English or German, you must have a notarized translation into German.
– Although the expected processing time is not too long, but normally, the number of Vietnamese tourists applying for a visa to Germany is also very large (especially the period from May -> September and October); So you should apply for a German visa about 2 months before the scheduled travel time.
