Visa Application Process / Information You Need to Know When Applying for a Belgium Visa

Visa application documents include:

– Original passport (valid for over 6 months and at least 3 blank pages).
– Two 3.5 * 4.5 photos (the face accounts for 80% of the photo) with a white background.
– Labor contract or appointment decision.
– Application for vacation travel.
– Payroll for the last 3 months or salary account statement for the last 3 months.
– Savings book balance confirmation (bilingual English Vietnamese).
– Copy of savings book.
– Copy of car red book (if any).
– Copy of visa card and ATM card.
– Visa or ATM account statement for the last 03 months.
– Household registration, Photo ID, marriage registration.

Visa processing time:

Like other Schengen visas, visas to Belgium take an average of 15 days to be processed. During this time, the applicant may be required to submit additional documents if the application is of poor quality.

Note :

– With a Belgian visa in hand, the applicant can travel to Europe many times within 1 year, with a stay in Europe for each entry up to a maximum of 90 days (3 months). So, if you intend to travel to Europe with the Belgian starting point, it is important to have a clear and specific plan of your trip schedule to be able to make the most of the Belgian visa and avoid in case of overstaying visa.
– The visa fee is subject to change according to the current exchange rate without notice. Payment will not be refunded, even if the application is unsuccessful.
In addition to the visa fee, the applicant also needs to pay a service fee for biometric sampling.
– Travel insurance is a mandatory document to prepare for any Schengen visa. Therefore, you need to prepare a health insurance package with a value of at least 30,000 Euro (750 million VND). This document is required to be valid prior to the travel date and is to be carried during travel in Europe.
